Chaste Tree is a small vase-shaped deciduous tree that can be trained for a single or multiple trunks. The dense fragrant grey-green foliage is palmately compound and lance-like. Long panicles of tiny fragrant lavender to pale violet flowers open midsummer on new growth. Flowers are highly attractive to butterflies and bees. Flowers best with full sun and moist well-drained soils.
