Vintage Raspberry is an upright thorny deciduous shrub that has a long harvest of large, bright ruby fruit that ripens from late summer into fall. Its small but attractive spring bloom of white flowers attracts pollinators. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Vintage is self-pollinating.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Intolerant of wet soils- can lead to root rot. Prune fruiting canes and weak canes immediately after fruiting, and as needed in winter. Remove suckers and trimmings to prevent rooting. Anthracnose, botrytis and root rot can be serious problems. Cane and crown borers are potential serious pests.
