Flower Carpet Red Rose is a care-free deciduous shrub with glossy dark green foliage that emerges with a red ting and a low-mounding habit. Massive blooms of velvety, carmine red semi-double roses with vivid yellow stamen bloom continually from mid-spring until the first frost. Occasionally the flowers may bloom a rich deep pink-red instead. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Excellent disease and pest resistance, self-cleaning, and drought tolerant once established.
