First Prize Rose is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub with leathery dark green foliage. The large fragrant double flowers have layered shades of rose pink, soft pink, and ivory, and bloom continuously from mid spring into fall.  Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils.  First Prize's long stems and long lasting flowers make for great cutting roses.
