Drop Dead Red Rose is a reblooming deciduous shrub with highly glossed deep green foliage. The lightly fragrant, fully double velvet red flowers bloom in flushes from late spring into fall. Best grown in full sun and rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Drop Dead Red has very good disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
