Cleveland Select Callery Pear is a sturdier, fast-growing deciduous tree with a columnar to vase-like habit grown for its attractive flower display and purple red-orange fall colors. Clusters of pleasantly fragrant of soft white flowers bloom in mid spring before the foliage emerges. Grows best in full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Cleveland Select is less prone to breakage and is a non-fruiting cultivar, reducing the invasive qualities of the species.
Sometimes sold as just 'Cleveland'.
