Crape Myrtle are deciduous shrubs or small trees known for their beautiful and long-lasting summer blooms. The foliage can be green or have a reddish tint, and it often turns vibrant shades of orange, red, or purple in the fall. The heavy blooms of frilly panicles come in various shades of pink. purple, red, or white.  Best color in full sun and rich, well-drained acidic soil.
