Bluebird Hydrangea is a mounding deciduous shrub with deep green foliage and profuse blooms. The lacecap clusters' flowers color depends on the PH of the soil- in acidic soils the flowers will be dark blue with soft blue outer flowers while alkaline flowers will be deep pink with soft pink outer petals. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
