Fire Light Tibit Hydrangea is a dwarf deciduous shrub with sturdy stems and foliage that earns a nice purple and orange fall color. The large upright panicles that nearly cover the foliage open white and mature to bright pink then red tones. These flowers persist into fall and attract butterflies and pollinators. While it can tolerate full sun, its best blooms are in part sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter. If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew. Aphids are occasional problems.
