Green Gem Boxwood is a compact, slow-growing evergreen shrub with lush small emerald green leaves that are resistant to winter burn. Insignificant flowers. Grows best in partial shade and moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. A carefree plant that is drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots. Root rot can be a problem in poorly drained soils. Shows good resistance to leaf miner, psyllids and mites.
