Citronella is a compact perennial with strongly citrus scented foliage that is deeply cut and crinkled. The clusters of small pink flowers with crimson marks bloom in summer.  Best grown in full sun and rich, neutral to slightly alkaline well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant.

This Cintronella does not have bug repelling properties, but is an herb that can be used in teas, syrup, and honey.
