Golden Chain Tree is a small deciduous tree with a dense upright branching habit and bright green foliage.  Long pendulous clusters of bright yellow pea-like flowers bloom in late spring, and are followed by noticeable legume pods in fall.  Grows best in moist well-drained soils.
