Sargent's Juniper is a creeping coniferous shrub with prostrate branches and erect stems that makes an excellent ground cover. The aromatic blue green foliage emerges needle-like and matures to scales. Pollinated females produce blue-black berries. Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils. Drought Tolerant once established. Sargent's has good resistance to juniper blight.
