Mint Julep Juniper is a creeping coniferous shrub with upright arching branches and attractive mint green scale-like foliage.  Pollinated females produce powdery blue berries.  Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought Tolerant once established.  Mint Julep takes shaping well and is a excellent choice for a topiary specimen.

Also sold as Juniperus × media and Juniperus × pfitzeriana 'Monlep'.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Junipers are generally susceptible to blights, especially in unusually wet weather.  Rust and canker may occur, though it is not serious.  Potential pests include aphids, bagworms, webworms, and scale.
