Blue Atlas Cedar is a large conifer tree that is loosely pyramidal when young and becomes flat topped with long spreading branches as it matures.  The short tufts of needle-like foliage curves at the tips and can range from green to silver-blue.  Prefers full sun and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils.  Heat and drought tolerant once established, and can tolerate alkaline soils.
