Nantucket Blue Hydrangea  macrophylla is a reblooming deciduous shrub that produces blooms on new and old wood in waves from late spring into fall.  It has large serrated green leaves with no fall color.  The lacecap clusters form balls of pastel flowers with color depending on the soil PH - acidic soils produces sky blue while alkaline soils produce pink.  The flowers attract butterflies and pollinators.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
