Plum-yew are slow-growing evergreen conifershrubs that usually reach to 10 feet and are usually dioecious. It has soft broad needles that lay in flat ranks. The small female fruits turn purple when mature. Prefers partial sunand rich well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS:Low maintenance. Water regularly, but allow the soil to dry slightly between watering. It can be damaged in full sun andcannot tolerate acidic soils.
