Plum-yew are slow-growing evergreen conifer shrubs that usually reach to 10 feet and are usually dioecious.  It has soft broad needles that lay in flat ranks. The small female fruits turn purple when mature.  Prefers partial sun and rich well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.
