Plum Rich Weigela is a mounding deciduous shrub with dense glossy bronze purple foliage.  Heavy blooms of rich pink funnel-shaped flowers in late spring attract butterflies.  Best flowering and color with full sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Plum Rich has strong resistance to powdery mildew and root rot.
