Wintergold Mugo Pine is a very slow-growing dwarf conifer, with a dense mounded habit and green needles that turn rich gold in winter. The erect cones can form in clusters and mature to black. Grows best in full sun with slightly acidic and moist soils. The winter color is more intense the colder it is.
