Gold Star Juniper is a spreading coniferous shrub that has a compact habit and feathery blue-green scale-like foliage tipped with chartreus that emerges yellow on harvest gold stems.  Pollinated females produce powdery gray green berries.  Best planted in full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought Tolerant once established.  Gold Star is resistant to root rot.
