Butterfly Bush is a species of fast growing deciduous shrubs with arching branches showy summer panicles that can last until frost.  The common colors for the panicles are pink, purple, or white, and are highly attractive to bees and butterflies.  Remove spent flowers to extend bloom season.  Best performance in sunny well-drained areas.  Drought tolerant.
