Sternschnuppe Umbrella Pine is a miniature evergreen conifer tree with a compact conical habit and thicker blunted needles that create an almost comic-like look . The umbrella like whorls of soft dark green needles can have as many as 20-30 needles per whorl. It prefers full sun and rich, well-draining, lightly acidic soil. Does not tolerate drought or urban pollution.
