Yaku Jima is an upright dwarf ornamental grass that forms dense clumps of arching grass-like foliage that turns yellow for fall before fading to beige in winter. The airy tassel-like pink plumes bloom above the foliage in late summer and gradually mature to a creamy beige that persists into winter. Best color in full sun and moist well-drained soil.
