Red Silver Maiden Grass is a large graceful clumping grass with a dense habit of fine, sage green arching blades that turns orange-maroon in fall before fading to tan. Tall upright canes sporting silky red-silver panicles go up in late summer and fades to tan with the foliage. Best color in full sun and moist well-drained soil. Tolerates salt and deer. Has improved resistance to powdery mildew.
