Sensation Lilac is a large deciduous shrub with an upright spreading habit and rich green foliage. Fragrant panicles of wine red flowers edged in white bloom in mid spring. Best flowering with full sun and rich, moist well-drained neutral soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Potential diseases include disease problems including blights, leaf spots, wilts, ringspot virus, and honey fungus. Powdery mildew does not damage the plant but can seriously affect foliage appearance. Potential pests include scales, borers, leaf miners, thrips, and caterpillars.
