Butterflies Magnolia is a compact upright pyramidal deciduous tree with late foliage growth without fall color and non-fading flowers.   The upright, lemon scented soft yellow flowers bloom from late winter into early spring before the foliage emerges.  Best color in full sun and moist, slightly-acidic, well-drained soil.
