Sheep Laurel is a native evergreen shrub with a low-spreading habit and rich green foliage that earns burgundy tones in fall and winter.  Showy clusters of bright pink to purple cup-shaped flowers bloom from late spring into summer.  Flowers best with full sun and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low Maintenance.  Water regularly.  Mulch to retain moisture and keep root zone cool.  Prune lightly after bloom to promote bushy growth.  Susceptible to blights and leaf spot.  Watch for scale, borers, lace bugs, and white flies. NOTE: Highly toxic if ingested.
