Redvein Enkianthus is a deciduous shrub with a narrow upright habit and layered branching. The glossy green leaves turn shades of yellow, orange, and bright scarlet in fall. Hanging clusters of fragrant white bell-like flowers with pink to red veining and edges bloom in early spring. Thrives in part sun and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils. Does well with clay soils, but will suffer in drought.
