NewGen Freedom Boxwood is a new compact fast-growing evergreen shrub cultivar with a rounded habit and uniform upright branching. The bright green new growth matures to a glossy emerald green. MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots. Root rot can be a problem in poorly drained soils. Shows good resistance to leaf miner, psyllids and mites.
