Summer Crush Hydrangea macrophylla is a dwarf deciduous shrub that reblooms continuously in waves all throughout summer on both new and old wood.  It has glossy serrated medium green leaves.  The densely packed lacecap flowers bloom color that depends on the soil PH -acidic soils give the signature raspberry red while alkaline soils produce blue-purple flowers.  The flowers attract butterflies and pollinators.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.  The Endless Summer series has improved disease resistance, especially against wilt.
