Tide Hill Boxwood is a dwarf evergreen shrub with a low spreading habit that can be used as a groundcover. Its small oval leaves emerge yellow chartreuse and brighten to a vivid green that holds in winter. Insignificant flowers. Grows best inpartial shade and moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. A carefree plant that is drought tolerant once established.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots. Root rot can be a problem in poorly drained soils. Shows good resistance to leaf miner, psyllids and mites.
