Karpick Red Maple is a native deciduous tree with a conical crown and upright branching. The green palmate foliage emerges on noticeably red twigs and turn a pleasing red to orange-yellow in fall. Grows best in rich, moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. Karpick is a male cultivar.
