Japanese White Pine is a slow-growing conifer tree with a broad pyramidal habit that becomes flat-topped with age and wide spreading branches.  Its slender, slightly twisted needles have a silvery undersides.  The cones can form in clusters.  Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils.
