Colorado Blue Spruce is a large native conifer tree with a narrow pyramidal habit and attractive silvery blue-green needles. The female cones emerge a surprising violet before maturing to soft brown. Prefers full sun and rich, moist well-drained acidic soils.  Drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Low maintenance plant. Susceptible to needle cast, rust, and cytospora canker.  Watch for aphids, scale, bagworms and budworms.  Spider mites infestations can severally damage new growth.
