Golden Fernsprey False Cypress is an evergreen conifer shrub with a loose upright habit.  Its conical shape when young broadens to pyramidal and can be sheared to train it to an arching fountain.  The small bright yellow foliage reminiscent of a fern frond holds its color well in winter.  Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water regularly but needs well-drained soil.  Juniper blight, root rot, and certain insect pests can be issues if soil to wet. Shelter from hard winds.  In southern climates, young plants may burn with direct afternoon sun.
