Longwood Blue Bluebeard is a mounding deciduous shrub with aromatic silver-green lace shaped foliage.  Profuse clusters of fragrant violet-blue flowers bloom on new wood from late summer into fall.  Flowers best in full sun and loamy well-drained soils.  Tolerates drought and heat.
