Green Mound Boxwood is a compact mounding evergreen shrub with small leaves that emerge bright green and may bronze in winter, especially if planted in direct sun. Insignificant flowers. Grows best in partial shade and moist, slightly acidic well-drained soils. A carefree plant that is drought tolerant once established. Green Mound can tolerate both full sun and full shade.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low maintenance. Some susceptibility to blight and leaf spots. Root rot can be a problem in poorly drained soils. Shows good resistance to leaf miner, psyllids and mites.
