Cryptomeria japonica 'Rein's Dense Jade'

Rein's Dense Jade Cryptomeria is beautiful evergreen tree that has a narrow pyramidal habit with ascending branches.  The dense feathery splays of rich green needles sit close to the branchlets and turn purple-bronze in winter.  It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Tolerates light shade. Do not let soils dry out.  Leaf blight and leaf spot can be occasional problems.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Wildlife Gardens, Woodland Garden, Rock Gardens, and Urban Gardens.

COMPANION PLANTS: Crape Myrtle, Azalea, Maple
