Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Gold Spangle'

Gold Spangle Falsecypress is a evergreen conifer shrub that starts off as a low mounding habit that becomes pyramidal.  It’s bright gold thread-like leaves retains is color in winter.  Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water regularly but needs well-drained soil.  Juniper blight, root rot, and certain insect pests can be issues if soil to wet. Shelter from hard winds.  

 LANDSCAPE USES:  Specimen or Groups plantings, Borders, Woodland Gardens, Rock Garden, Foundation Planting, Hedges, and Containers.

COMPANION PLANTS: Maiden Grass, Juniper, Black-eyed Susan
