Montmorency Cherry Tree is a popular sour cherry cultivar that is low maintenance and early fruiting, with its bright red tangy-tart cherries ready to harvest at the turn of the season.  Its white flowers bloom in late spring. Grows best in most, well-drained soils that are lightly acidic. Average age to start fruiting is 4-6 years. Montmorency is highly disease resistant and self-pollinating, but having another pollinator would increase its yield.
