Spice Island Korean Spice Viburnum is a compact rounded deciduous shrub with serrated dark green foliage that turns deep wine and burgundy in fall. Its large ball-like clusters of pink buds open to highly fragrant white flowers in mid spring. Flowers best in moist well-drained soils. Spice Island blooms later than most Viburnum, with the foliage fully emerged before blooming.
MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Prune immediately as needed after flowering. Occasional issues include root rot, viburnum crown borers, mildew, and leaf spot.
