Froggie Hydrangea macrophylla is a dwarf reblooming deciduous shrub with a rounded habit and rich, dark green leaves that turns blazing red in fall. The mophead flower clusters bloom new wood start a striking green that earns pink spotting before turning a color that depends on the soil PH - acidic soils produce blue while alkaline soils produce pink.  The flowers attract pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.  Froggie is highly resistant to powdery mildew.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter.  If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew.  Aphids are occasional problems.
